My name is Tyler Lloyd and this website is a collection of my projects, thoughts, and things I find interesting.
Originally from Kentucky, I currently call Washington, DC home. When not working at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, I enjoy exploring the city on foot or by bike, drinking strong coffee, and telling stories through photography, video, podcasts, and the written word.
I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso from 2012 to 2014, a time that was truly transformative and one that I documented on my blog and in a book that I published, Service Disrupted.
After serving in Burkina Faso, I started a second blog called the Manly Green, which was an environmental lifestyle blog geared towards men. After more than a year of that project, I closed it down but did carry several posts over to this website.
Most recently, my main focus has been my YouTube channel where I document my personal development journey and all that I learn along the way. My desire is to create the highest quality of life for myself and loved ones, and to help others do the same.
